Application:
S.F.S. is a very efficient oxygen scavenger, and is used as such in metal recovery and polymeric applications. It is reductive bleach, alone or in combination with a chelating agent, it can be used to brighten plastic. S.F.S. is used in the textile industry for discharge printing, and in color stripping of wool and synthetics.
